Audience recording from Inglewood 1977, which is very near Los Angeles. This is the last concert of the North America News Of The World Tour. The recording is not complete as it misses all the songs after the Guitar Solo, which cuts out at the very end. Spread Your Wings misses the first part because of a tape flip. This recording is very special because of a one-off performance of White Christmas during the acoustic set. The overall sound quality is average and unstable, but some parts are quite nice. It comes from a copy of second generation tape. No copy errors. Not from mp3.
Comment from the owner of the Cassette tape:
"I received this cassette from a friend who bought it at a San Diego record fair in the 80's. It's only a 90 minute tape, so the last few songs are missing. It was so long ago that he forgets if there was a second tape, and he says it's entirely possible that it was there, but he didn't buy it because he saw White Christmas on the track listing and just grabbed that tape (he wasn't a big Queen fan, but interested enough to hear them do that song). He remembers the dealer saying he got it from the taper, and that the copies he was selling were copies of his, which would make this a second generation copy. The tape sat in his basement for ages and he found it earlier this year after rummaging through his tapes for the first time in years, and wanted it to be heard for the 40th anniversary of the show, so he sent it to me. The quality is not great but listenable, and as far as I know this show hasn't circulated before now''.
