Comment:

Nice audience recording from the second night at Wembley Arena 1984 during the Works Tour. This is the complete concert and it was held on September 5th 1984, which is Freddie's 38th birthday. You can hear the audience singing happy birthday to Freddie several times during the concert. Some funny moments during Love Of My life. Before the first verse it seems that Freddie is not on the stage as Brian says ''I'm sorry, he's got home for his birthday'' and then he starts to play the first verse with only the audience. When the second verse is going to start Freddie comes back on stage and sings the second verse. Then Freddie probably seems to get a birthday card from the audience and then he says ''I can't read this!''. When Freddie continues to sing and comes to the part ''When I grow older, I will be there..'' he sings ''When I grow older... thirty eight!..,I will be there..''. It sounds very funny ;-). The sound quality of the whole concert is good and enjoyable. It's just recorded a bit loud, so there is some slight distortion. Nice appearance of Saturday Night's Allright For Fighting. CD copy from first generation cassette. No copy errors. Not from mp3.
